Details

Portable time code-enabled audio recorder, two-channel analog and AES digital I/O, CompactFlash card recording. Includes 2000 mAh Li-ion battery, AC power adapter, and XL-1394 power conditioner.

The 702T two-track digital audio recorder is designed for portable production applications. This compact device is known for its pleasant-sounding, low-noise microphone preamplifiers, the accuracy of its onboard Ambient time code generator, and the ability to record to convenient, removable Compact Flash cards and external FireWire drives.

Designed for Portable Production
The 702T is includes the features and possesses the size and durability attributes required for portable production environments. Sharing a common menu architecture with the 7-Series family of recorders, the 702T is intuitive to operate. In addition, the onboard time code generator makes the 702T perfect for dual-system video or film production applications, while the Sony-compatible camcorder battery makes the 702T suitable for over-the-shoulder to cart-based production.

Data Storage and Transfer
The 702T records uncompressed PCM or compressed MP3 audio to a Compact Flash card and an external FireWire drive allowing for flexibility to compliment the required workflow. It can be connected to Mac OS or Windows computers with FireWire 400 for high-speed data transfer.

7-Series Family of Recorders
The 7-Series Recorders possess unmatched capability in a compact packages, each designed for unique user requirements. As with other 7-Series Recorders, 702T truly excels when preceded by a portable audio mixer such as Sound Devices' 552 or 302.
